A connector at heart, you are all about leveraging your creative gifts to bring people together. You know that a rising tide lifts all boats, and your superpower is your ability to encourage others and make them feel like part of something bigger than themselves.
You’re the kind of person who’s always looking for points of similarity and connection with other people, and you’re naturally attuned to what others need. While the day-to-day of your business is rooted in your creative gifts, the thing that really sets your heart on fire is bringing others to the table and empowering them to greater impact in their own lives. That’s an incredible gift, and it’s one that naturally attracts others to you.
Sometimes, though, that radar you’ve got for helping and inspiring others can get you caught in people-pleasing mode.
When you’re naturally dialled in to every opportunity to make a difference for your tribe, it can be hard to tune out the noise and figure out the right plan for you – one that really leverages your creative talents and gives you a clear and focused plan to make the out-sized impact you know you can have.
Too often you find yourself spread wayyyy too thin and not really moving forward. You feel frustrated and like you’re wasting time, but you keep plugging away because you know the potential is there. You just need to figure out a way to get there… and still have time to enjoy life and the people who are your reason for chasing your dreams in the first place.
Deep breath, friend. You’re absolutely right – the potential is there. Let’s get after it together, shall we?

Your Sweet Spot Success Code
Your action plan for growing your business your way:
A communications strategy that plays to your strengths.
Here’s how to make it happen…
Make a plan… and keep it simple!
Your gift of seeing opportunities to build relationships and wanting to take advantage of them as they come serves you really well as a connection-driven creative. But it can also be the source of a lot of overwhelm and frustration if you don’t have a clear plan in place to help you decide which ideas are the right ones for you, right now.
So, yeah, you definitely need a plan. But that plan doesn’t need to be complicated. In fact, the simpler it is, the easier it will be for you to actually filter out the ideas that you want to focus on and the ones you should put on hold (or just say “no” to!).
Each month, pick just two or three things that you will focus on that month in your marketing – things that play to your strengths and tell your story, like we talked about in Step 1!
Set clear, actionable targets for those goals so that you’ll know exactly what you need to do to make them happen. Focusing on just those few things will create real momentum in those areas, and you’ll start to see the results that have seemed so elusive until now.
And for the things you say “no” or “not now” to? Keep a list! You don’t need to toss them out the door forever if you don’t want to. When you’re setting your goals for the next month, come back to your list and consider it then.
Look for opportunities to build community
The whole point of this quiz is to help you find ways to make communications easier by leveraging your strengths – and community-building is yours! Not only are you great at gathering people around you, you have a gift for seeing them and helping them. Making community-building a key part of the way you relate to your audience will feel fun and true to who you are – and it’s a great way to build a following of clients and customers who feel engaged and invested in your brand.
This could look like making conversation and engagement a key part of your social media strategy, or developing content that features and highlights other leaders and creatives your audience can learn from. If you prefer one-on-one connection, challenge yourself to reach out regularly to other creative business owners to collaborate or just to cheer each other on and support each other. Or if you really want to jump in, perhaps offering your audience a paid community or membership is an option to consider for your business.
Community building is a natural form of leadership for you, so put some thought into how you can use your natural ability to see and connect with others to establish your brand as a leader in your space.
Embrace your storytelling genius
Storytelling is KEY to an engaging communications strategy – which is great news for you! Because although you might not feel like it, as someone who is naturally inclined to finding points of commonality and connection, you have all the makings of a great storyteller.
Here’s why. Good stories help us apply the truth of someone else’s experience to our own lives… and good storytellers make that happen for their audience. Because you’re so great at connecting the dots relationally, you have a constant store of material that you can use to draw your audience in and get them connected with your business and your mission.
Whether it’s short and sweet posts on Instagram or longer pieces of content like a blog post or newsletter series, look for opportunities to share the stories you’ve seen and experienced through your work. Talk about what that’s meant for you and those you’ve served, and then turn it around and open the door to your audience – tell them what it means for them or how they can experience the same thing for themselves.
